Police were reported to have apprehended the man after incident, which happened at the Grafing-Bahnhof station.
The four people injured were left with life-threatening injuries, Bavarian radio reports.
Police were checking witness statements that the man shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the attack, Bayerischer Rundfunk reported.
