Monitoring reports of a shooting at a high school in Alpine, Texas.2 shooters,one victim.
A possible active shooter at Alpine High School in West Texas has caused schools in the area to be placed on "critical lockdown" Thursday morning, according to media reports.
CBS7 reported that the Brewster County Sheriff's Office confirmed they responded to the high school for an active shooter and placed all schools and administration on a critical lockdown.
The high school is about 30 miles east of Marfa. Alpine ISD has just under 1,000 students, according to the school's website.
There have been no reports of injuries so far.
